Screen savers as an in-house communication medium? Very few people have given any thought at all to the subject and who could blame them. The screen saver came about as exactly as the name implies: an incidental application that resides within the computer desktop system that during idle moments, changes the screen in order to ‘save the screen’ from burning in the static screen that was previously shown.
So the question “is the screen saver the best in-house communication medium ever invented?” probably seems overstatement at best and a bit crackpot if examined from a more conventional perspective.
